Archer Vineyards located in the Russian River Valley American Viticulture Area (AVA) is dedicated to the production of ultra-premium wine grapes. Recent winery contracts have been with Patz and Hall Wine Com, Gary Farrell Winery, Lynmar Winery, Loxton Cellars, Ancien Winery, August Briggs Winery and Whetstone Wine Cellars.
Vineyard was planted in 2002 and 2003. The vineyard has been engineered for surface and sub-surface water removal and the soils profiles are primarily the Spreckles Loam series, which are class III and IV soils. Vine spacing is 4' apart on a vertical four wine trellis system, supported by 3" steel end posts. Primary water supply for irrigating is supplied by the Town of Windsor reclaimed water project and backed by a private well.Property is zoned Diverse Agricultrual, B6-20 acre density.
